With Season 2 release sometime on Nov 13th PST time. The scammers are already trying to attract members. Protect yourself.
By default Telegram allows anyone to add you to any group and scammers are making fake groups with exactly same name as the official ones. In these groups they try to lure you into shady website or to use dangerous wallets.
You can change settings in Telegram so that random people can't add you to groups.
▶️ Go to Telegrams Settings
▶️ Select Privacy and Security
▶️ Select Groups
▶️ "Who can add me to groups?" - Set to "Contacts Only"
